Supporting your Mental Health

Rachael, our Mental Health Trainee Assistant Practitioner works across the 6 Healthier South Wirral GP practices providing care for patients who need non-clinical mental health support, guidance and advice. Three ways to look after your mental wellbeing;

  • Getting in touch with friends and family
  • Taking time out for yourself by doing things you love to do
  • Reaching out to those who can help

Approximately 1 in 4  people in the UK suffer a mental health problem each year. If you’re concerned about yourself or a loved one, please don’t suffer in silence. You can visit your GP or access support from the following links and phone numbers below:


Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are NHS services that assess and treat young people with anxiety, low mood and other issues. If you feel this relates to you or someone you know have a look at the website below, while you can discuss how you feel with your GP you can also self refer to CAMHS without seeing a GP.
