Before visiting your GP practice, you may be able to be treated at your local pharmacy.

Pharmacies can provide treatment for the following:

• Acne, spots and pimples (first enquiry)
• Mild allergic reaction
• Ankle or foot pain and swelling
• Athletes foot
• Bites or stings
• Blisters
• Constipation
• Diarrhoea
• Dressing problems
• Ear discharge or ear wax earache
• Hearing problems or blocked ear
• Eye- red or irritable
• Eye- sticky or watery
• Eyelid problems
• Failed contraception
• Headache/migraine
• Hip, thigh or buttock pain or swelling
• Knee or lower leg pain
• Lower back pain
• Lower limb pain or swelling
• Mouth ulcers
• Nasal congestion
• Haemorrhoids
• Scabies
• Shoulder pain
• Skin- rash
• Sleep difficulties
• Sore throat
• Tiredness
• Toe pain or swelling
• Toothache after dental injury
• Toothache without dental injury
• Vaginal discharge
• Vaginal itch or soreness
• Vomiting
• Wrist, hand or finger pain or swelling

• Uncomplicated UTI in women (18-65)
• Bacterial conjunctivitis in infants between 3 months and 2 years old
• Impetigo
• Oral thrush between 1-4 months
