Bye Bye text messages and Hello to the NHS app/PATCHS

This is no April fools!

April marks the huge reduction in text messaging to patients. Why? Our allocation of free text messages has now been capped. Due to a rise in costs, we have alternative pathways of communication.

You will now receive messages form the surgery through the NHS app/PATCHS service.

If you haven’t already, please download the NHS app and ensure your notifications are switched on. You can do this by

Log into NHS app – Account -scroll to settings – click notifications and switch on your notifications.

If you have not yet downloaded the app, Please use QR code.
