We understand the recent media coverage regarding emergency preparedness has prompted some patients to ask for additional medication supplies.

Please be reassured that there is no need to request extra at this time. Ordering more medication than usual can put additional pressures on supply chains and potentially lead to shortages and disruption to medication supplies for everyone. The NHS has procedures in place to help manage emergencies and maintain essential services. We encourage patients to follow the usual prescription ordering process and ensure they order repeat medication 7 days in advance.
